Pet Portraits in pencil.

Drawing animals is really rewarding, they can be quite tricky to get right and it’s really important to get a rough outline of the structure first so that when you start adding real details, you don’t have to make too many dramatic mistakes and lose your hard work. a really nice trick is to use soft brushes on top of the pencil lines to soften and give a 3 dimensional quality, I also love using make up brushes for this as they are made for blending.
